These development methodologies include several leading-edge best practice patterns in .NET Development such as Aspect Containers, State Machine, Logging, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Developed several SharePoint 2003 WebParts utilizing both the SharePoint object model and non Integrated Sharepoint model with the web service interfaces of SharePoint 2003. Developed a demo system for a large software company in Redmond.  This demo utilized IBM WebSphere 5.1 with the IBM Web Services Development Kit and the Eclipse Develoment Environment, Microsoft Biztalk 2004, IBM DB/2, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000.  A message from a custom application created data in IBM DB/2 with Biztalk accessing the IBM WebSphere web service to get the new data.  This data was then pumped into SQL Server with an Advanced Biztalk 2004 orchestration.

Developed a Verifone 3750/3740 Terminal Application that combines Gift/Loyalty/Credit/Debit/EBT/EFT transactions into one application.  The application utilizes TCP/IP and PPP modem functionality to send transactions over a secure network.  Completely VMAC compliant application that allows other applications to run concurently with other custom business applications.  This application will be deployed and used at over 15,000+ QSR locations by the end of 2005.  Always available to quickly develop custome Verifone Applications!

Migrated an entire LIVE datacenter from Seattle to Portland.  Included configuring network connectivity ranging from VPN routes from Seattle and Denver to Portland as well as DNS and SMTP services.  Utilized MS SQL Server Log Shipping to fail over from one database server in Seattle data center to another in Portland.  Also setup redundanct data center in St Louis to fail over from Portland servers.

Developed several technology solutions marketed for the QSR (Quick Service Resturants) industry.  Lead the development of the severals versions of the Ontain Express Order product ( Starbucks-Express).  and the Subway Gift/Loyalty Card program ( www.mysubwaycard.com).  These projects included working with XML schemas and writing tool sets to utilize client/server SSL with web-services.  Co-Devloped the IVR solution around the Express Order Product, as well as the IVR portion of the Subway Card implementation.  Also lead development of integrated CRM-solution with Microsoft CRM product utilizing Microsoft BizTalk.  Co-developed an Order Delivery System (written in JAVA) to send XML messages to Verifone 3300/3350 terminals via modem.  Assisted with the project management for the rollout of a 5,000 store implmentation of the Subway Gift/Loyalty program and manageability issues around a mid-size rollout. Allowed customer to access their Exchange 5.5 IMAP based e-mail server over any web browser (IE, Netscape, Opera) to access mail from any OS client. Saved company several thousand's of dollars in licensing costs.

Designed a secure Active Directory infrastructure with over 60 sites in North America and 2,000 users. The Active Directory implementation included the design and setup of a rack of 20 terminal servers using a round robin DNS approach for load balancing. Managed the setup, cloning and rollout of pc clients to all sites to implement a Thin Print solution to reduce printing WAN traffic by 50%. Also improved the performance of the customer's current thin client infrastructure by improving boot times by 25%. This was accomplished in 3 weeks vs. the client's original 2 month rollout schedule.
